Remember in the book how Boo Radley came out of the house to save Scout and Jem from the evil Mr. Ewell? It is kind of like that except that our own Boo Radley wasn't saving any kids and there wasn't that racial tension motivating the crime... just some alone time in a kennel. That is, unless he hates monkeys.
